is_amd_gpu() -> Bool

Returns True if the target triple of the compiler is amdgcn-amd-amdhsa False otherwise.

Returns:

Bool: True if the triple target is amdgpu and False otherwise.

is_amd_gpu[subarch: StringSlice[StaticConstantOrigin]]() -> Bool

Returns True if the target triple of the compiler is amdgcn-amd-amdhsa and we are compiling for the specified sub-architecture, False otherwise.

Parameters:

  • ​subarch (StringSlice): The AMD GPU sub-architecture to check for (e.g., "gfx90a").

Returns:

Bool: True if the triple target is amdgpu and False otherwise.
