link[OldType: PathLike, NewType: PathLike](oldpath: OldType, newpath: NewType)

Creates a new hard-link to an existing file.

Parameters:

  • ​OldType (PathLike): The path type of the existing file.
  • ​NewType (PathLike): The path type of the file to create.

Args:

  • ​oldpath (OldType): The existing file.
  • ​newpath (NewType): The new file.

Raises:

If the operation fails.
